Challenge your children to start a business with just £5 in four weeks!

The Fiver Challenge, from Young Enterprise is a free national enterprise programme providing children, aged 5-11, a highly interactive and fun way of developing core enterprise and financial education skills, including problem solving, confidence, creativity and teamwork.
Next year, the Fiver Challenge will look a little different but will retain the enterprising core of what gives the programme its identity.  
As of Spring 2027, the programme will relaunch as an enterprise challenge which spans both Primary and Secondary phases.
The programme has been redesigned using feedback from teachers, students, parents, volunteers and partners, helping us create an experience that better reflects the needs of today's learners and educators.
The refreshed programme will be more engaging, flexible and intuitive, while staying true to the enterprising experiences that have inspired young people for years. Your feedback has played a central role in shaping what comes next, and we look forward to sharing more soon.

Fiver Challenge

The challenge offers an excellent introduction to enterprise and the world of work through a highly interactive four weeks as they research, create, plan and run their own business with a £5 pledge. Providing children with the opportunity to enter multiple competitions along the way, win prizes and feature in our Fiver Showcase.

Fiver DIY

The Fiver DIY project can be delivered flexibly, across the academic year or at home, as they imagine what business they can create with £5. Providing children with a fun way to step into enterprise education and prepare them for next year's challenge.
